TREATMENT

Typically, sports massage techniques are fast-paced and incorporate stretching and compression movements. I will use a variety of deep tissue techniques.
Your treatment will start with a consultation to discuss your current and historic health and to assess any current pain or discomfort you are experiencing.
It’s not uncommon to feel slightly sore after a Sports massage treatment, but this should ease off over the course of 72 hours.
During your treatment
Your therapist will start by checking where your problem areas are to get a feel for how they can help.
When it comes time to hop up on the table, remind yourself that a sports massage is different from a relaxation massage. There may be some discomfort. Remember to communicate and let me know if the discomfort is becoming too severe.

HOME VISITS
If you are not in the Dartmouth Area and will find it difficult to attend, I am able to talk to you about a home visit. I can talk to you individually about this to check that it is right for both client and therapist. A charge for mileage will be added to the treatment cost for home visits. This will be discussed during our initial conversations.
